Brad Adderley is the Managing Partner of Appleby’s Bermuda office. He is also head of the Corporate practice in Bermuda and the Insurance & Reinsurance global sector leader at Appleby.

 

Brad has extensive experience in the insurance and reinsurance market and specialises in ILS and alternative collateralised reinsurance investment transactions including catastrophe bonds, special purpose insurers, sidecars, life insurance securitisations, and other fully collateralised structures. Brad is also a member of Appleby’s global Technology & Innovation group.

  

Brad is top-ranked by the leading legal directories and is recognized for his significant contribution to Bermuda’s reinsurance sector in Bermuda’s Risk Transfer Hall of Fame. He sits on the steering committee of ILS Bermuda, the trade association for the ILS industry in Bermuda. He participates regularly at conferences and seminars, and provides commentary to international and local media on the Bermuda insurance industry.
