In This Episode of Best Health, we speak with Dr. Charles Swart to learn not only about the types of pain that can cause suffering to many. We also learn about the professional methods Dr. Swart engages with in order to intervene in a person’s experience with pain to assist them to live a better and more fulfilling life.
Dr. Charles Swart is an Oxford-trained anaesthetist and pain management specialist. He has been practicing anaesthesia and pain management for more than twenty years. Dr. Swart introduced the treatment modality of radiofrequency therapy to Bermuda in 2009, the first of its kind.
He is a full-time consultant anaesthetist and pain specialist, both in private practice and also the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital. He has a ‘super specialty’ in interventional pain medicine.
